Overview
Landoll’s all-new 344 Traveling Axle Trailer builds on our experience in the storage container industry. With an increased capacity, this trailer can do more than just empty containers. The 344 is available in 43′, 46′, and 50′ lengths. The 43′ model can handle up to 45′ boxes and the 46′ model can handle up to 48′ boxes. If you have domestic 53′ high cube boxes in your fleet, then choose the 50′ model. Customize the trailer around your needs. A fifth wheel height of 45″ is required when hauling high-cube containers. The 344 includes a Chain Drive Load System, or a Winch System is available. Toe boards can be added with an inside position for guiding 96″ wide boxes or bolt-on outside guides can be optioned for 102″ high cube boxes. Each trailer comes with the Landoll Handling Package standard. Photos may show optional features. * Capacity ratings are frame capacities only. About traveling axle trailers
On a traveling axle trailer the axle assembly slides forward hydraulically until the rear of the deck touches the ground, turning the whole deck into a ramp. Equipment loads from the rear without a detachable neck or separate ramps, which makes it fast for one operator. Popular with rental yards and contractors moving mid-size machines and containers, with capacities typically from 25 to 55 tons.
